What are these scripts really about?

For some of our migration projects, simple programming using Perl, Regular Expressions or XSLT are all that is needed. But for large scale migrations, nothing tackles the job like our migration tools. These tools are designed to automate the most common and time consuming parts of a migration. Take a look at the sidebar for some examples.

The real beauty of these tools is their flexibility. We are able to interact directly with virtually any CMS on the market. We can access HTML, XML, PDF, Excel and many other formats, clean and extract the content and output it as XML, HTML, RSS Feeds or SOAP or insert it into any SQL compatible database, Excel spreadsheet or Text file. And of course, we can input the content directly into the CMS using either the native APIs or the actual user interface of the CMS itself.
